Scale

From the beginning  this modular sound-absorbing wall  was conceived as a  simple and practical way to build up the exhibition walls hanging from the ceiling at Balzar Beskow´s stand at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2016. But during the fair several people  showed their interest  in using the wall for their interior projects and that is why we decided to turn it into a product suited for mass production.

We developed two versions of Scale: a free-hanging version that comes in three different standard sizes and a modular system which includes several different sections that allow you to create custom surfaces in any length or hight. A curved section gives you the possibility to construct "rooms in rooms".

 The product consists of three basic elements:  square felt parts, aluminum rails  and plastic clips. Everything is put together as a modular system.
