Poly

Poly is a series of puffs inspired by polygons. It is available in pentagon (small) and hexagon (large) shapes.

The work started with the idea of creating three-dimensional shapes by assembling two-dimensional curved planes, which would result in more simple and efficient handling and upholstering, possibly even sewing-free. We came up with a modular molded-wood shell that is upholstered and assembled through a special metal framework in the inside. In order to create a strong construction we have chosen a vaulted shape for the base structure, hence the slight convexity of the puff´s seat. It is also possible to add a small table.
