Marcus

Marcus is a frameless table system specially adapted to school environments. A table at a school should be able to cope with a lot of different circumstances. The users are painting, eating and are educated around the same table. It is very important that the tables are stable, durable and withstand the hard conditions they may face. The table is offered in a variety of lengths and widths, from very short to very long. It is available rectangular, square and circular with different types of finishes.

A large part of the task was to find a good design solution that could be combined with all the requirements and desires of the table's future environment. The big challenge was to create a leg that doesn't need a frame without losing stability. We were inspired by timber structures in old houses and translated this into a solid leg structure.
