Charles

Charles has been developed in collaboration with the Swedish furniture producer Balzar Beskow. Balzar Beskow has a great tradition of making furniture in molded wood technique and for Charles the brief clear, come up with a chair in only molded wood details.

The design is based on a classic cross rail construction, durable for the requirements of public spaces, good seating comfort and a contemporary feel to it. In Charles, Tim Alpen have taken advantage of the strengths in molded wood and taken down the stack height to a minimum. Despite its light weight Charles is incredibly durable and are available in several colors and wood finishes. For environments with high demands Charles is available with laminate surface.
