KS-600 & SO-600

The assignment was to make a stackable chair in wood and a pressure molded veneer seat shell for public spaces with high comfort. The chair is available with molded veneer or as upholstered. The starting point and inspiration came from historical archetypes, so the use of traditional production techniques and material was a given choice.

The SO-600 bench is a development and extension of the KS-600 armchair. SO-600 is simply a very wide chair with multiple seating. The proportions and angles are the same except that the legs are heavier to handle the load of several persons. The bench is available in several variations with different numbers of seats, materials, colors or as upholstered.
